God wants you to be restored unto His original intention for communion with you. Your sins have separated you from God, but He calls you to reason with Him concerning your rebellious wrong-doing. If you will repent of your sin, He has already made the way possible for you to be forgiven and justified. To repent means to have a change of mind/heart attitude towards your sin. It means that you truly want to be right with God and no longer want to continue living in disobedience to Him. In short, you want to be forgiven and changed. The Good News is that you can! This was accomplished by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for you. Jesus was born when the fullness of time was come, however, He was not just another baby boy. He was more than just a great prophet or teacher or moral example - He was God Himself come in the flesh. He lived the perfect life in complete satisfaction to the Father that you or I could never live. He was sinless. He was also our substitute. His blood was shed on the cross and He took your guilt and punishment upon Himself so that you might go free. He died in your place and took all of your wrongdoing and sin upon Himself, in His body. He died, but he didn’t stay dead! On the third day following His crucifixion, Jesus Christ arose from death and the grave. He spent forty days following His resurrection proving by many infallible proofs that He was truly the risen Son of God. After preparing His disciples with the command to preach repentance and forgiveness of sins through His Name, He ascended into Heaven where He sits right now at the right hand of God the Father. He now awaits the Day when He will return once more to rule and reign on this earth from His rightful place on the throne of David: for He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You will either bow before Him now or you will bow before Him later (at which point it will be too late for mercy). Why not humbly submit to Him as Lord and Savior right now and accept the pardon for your sins that He is so freely offering to you. He paid the penalty for you so that you can now be declared righteous on His account - if you will only repent and believe on Him. It is the Only Way! Agree with God that you are justly deserving of His wrath because of your sins, and believe in your heart that He loved you enough to take your place on the cross; then call upon His Name asking for forgiveness and salvation. He will hear you and He is waiting now to wash you white as snow. This is the free gift of eternal life offered to all who will believe in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
